The KIT 2019 Technical Program Committee will award KIT 2019 Ph.D. Student Prize of 300 EUR to the author of the best contributed student paper to KIT 2019. To be eligible, the candidate must be:

  • Ph.D. student,
  • maximum 35 years of age in the year 2019,
  • the first author of the paper,
  • the major contributor to the paper,
  • the paper presenter in a conference session.

Important Dates

  • The deadline for sending full-length papers is May 31, 2019.
  • The authors will be notified about the acceptance of their papers by July 15, 2019.
  • The deadline for final paper submission is September 23, 2019.
  • The program of the Conference will be published by October 1, 2019.
  • The deadline for participant’s registration and fee payment is October 1, 2019.

PLEASE NOTE: To be published in the IEEE KIT2019 Conference Proceedings and to be eligible for publication in IEEE Xplore®, an author of an accepted paper is required to register for the conference at the full (member or non-member) rate and the paper must be presented by an author of that paper at the conference unless the TPC Chair grants permission for a substitute presenter arranged in advance of the event and who is qualified both to present and answer questions.  Non-refundable registration fees must be paid prior to uploading the final IEEE formatted, publication-ready version of the paper.  For authors with multiple accepted papers, one full registration is valid for up to 3 papers.

Since 2017 the conference has been supported by the IEEE and the accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore. The papers from the last conference are indexed in Web of Science and Scopus as well.

Author Guidelines

Prospective authors are kindly invited to submit full text papers including results, tables, figures and references. Full papers have to follow the requested paper template. The papers will be reviewed and authors will be informed about their conference acceptance. All submitted articles should report original, previously unpublished research results, experimental or theoretical. Articles submitted to the conference should meet these criteria and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.
